Welcome to the website of the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Lafayette, Louisiana.  Of all the things I do as pastor of this venerable parish, I think the ministry of hospitality is clearly one of the greatest.  We at the Cathedral welcome you as Christ would welcome you.  As you read through our story and ministries, it is my prayer that you will be filled with peace, peace that is only as the Lord gives.
